Graduating from the University of York in 2022 with a First Class Honours in BA Music, Max honed his skills and worked on a variety of short film projects, and is now back at the University of York studying an MA in Music Composition for Film and TV under John Stringer.

He has multiple accomplishments so far, such as being shortlisted for the BBC Young Composers award in 2019, being awarded the Terry Holmes Scholarship in 2025, having original compositions played by renowned performers such as Anders Paulsson, and working on a wide variety of projects across film and TV in a short amount of time.
